LEVELMAX BondMax MS40 is a professional, one-component MS Polymer adhesive for timber flooring. Designed for fast-track installations, it delivers strong initial grab, excellent elasticity and rapid strength development while maintaining the long-term performance expected from premium MS Polymer adhesives. Solvent-free and isocyanate-free, BondMax MS40 provides a safer working environment and is suitable for engineered timber, solid timber, bamboo and parquet flooring installations.

Supplied in a convenient 600 ml sausage format, BondMax MS40 supports efficient application, smooth extrusion and reduced material waste.

BondMax MS40 is supplied in 600ml sausages for use with a suitable sausage applicator gun. Confirm the flooring manufacturer's installation requirements and read the current MS40 TDS before starting.

  1. Check that the substrate is sound, clean and dry. Confirm moisture conditions and system compatibility before installation.
  2. Load the 600ml sausage into a suitable applicator gun and prepare the nozzle for the approved application pattern.
  3. Apply continuous, evenly spaced adhesive beads in accordance with the product and flooring instructions. Place the flooring into the wet adhesive and press firmly.
  4. Lift boards periodically to check adhesive transfer. Apply only as much adhesive as can be covered within the open time.

At 23°C and 50% relative humidity, the MS40 TDS lists an approximate 40-minute open time and 60-minute adjustment time. Site conditions affect application and curing. Consult the current TDS and SDS for limitations, cleaning and handling requirements.

  • Hazard Classification: Classified as hazardous per Safe Work Australia (GHS 7). Causes skin irritation (H315) and serious eye irritation (H319).
  • First Aid: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Wash skin with soap and water. Seek medical attention if needed.
  • PPE: Chemical-resistant gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing required.
